Recently Kikidoll has received some holiday snaps from various loyal customers on holiday wearing items from her 2010 collection Signature Shell.
With this collection nearly sold out–only the Monster Leaf and Bamboo patterns remain in string bikini styles–and poised to launch the new 2011 Honolulu Honi collection any day now with the release of the newly designed website, Kikidoll is happy to see these teeny pieces travelling far and living the good life from the beaches of Southern California to the Indian Ocean.
Just in from a glamorous honeymoon in the Seychelles, Pink Multi Shell bandeau made an appearance and seemed perfectly paired in that tropical splendor. Just luscious.
Send any pics you have of yourself wearing Kikidoll and they will be added to this collage, with a 10% gift certificate sent for your efforts!

Happy day for Kikidoll that Alberta has designed a line of her gorgeous island-inspired Lilliana Design necklaces and earrings for Kikidoll’s 2011 swimwear collection.
Also from Honolulu, Alberta and Kiki first met at a hula competition! Kiki fell in love with Alberta’s combinations of pearls and shells, not to mention the amazing handmade leis and kupe’e that Alberta also wove for the dancers. Alberta’s design savvy and shared love for Hawaii nei drew them together and an association was born.
Each piece of Lilliana Design is hand-crafted by Alberta, and she uses the ocean and island beauty as her guide. For Kikidoll’s collection she paired mother of pearl shells in vivid pinks and sea-worthy aquas, fanned out into hibiscus blossoms on harsher steel-tipped black rubber chokers to ratchet up the pretty with an edgy twist. Strands of bronzey brown beads laced with leopard-spotted cowrie beads and shells added some woodsy tones to the pastel color palette. Whole shells hanging from thin wires dangle as earrings. Evan a bikini belt with shells and coral is making an appearance for Kikidoll’s ‘Honolulu Honi’ 2011 collection.
Kiki’s favorite piece is the pearl and half-conch shell necklace that she chose for her centerpiece photo. Watch for a sneak peek of that coming soon to a sofa near you. Until then, only a glimpse is shown here of Lilliana’s treasures!
All Lilliana Design pieces are available on www.kikidollswimwear.com Prices on request.
Kikidoll’s Bikini In A Bottle
Whats Kikidoll’s bikini in a bottle all about ?
Kikidoll is preparing to ‘launch’ her capsule Cruise Collection of swimwear for 2010-2011–literally–drifting towards a beach near you sometime this autumn.
Filling 21 bio-degradable sea-worthy bottles each with her newest 21 Hawaiian-inspired printed string bikinis that she just previewed at Miami Swim Week for next year, Kiki is sealing them up, ready for a voyage of a lifetime.
Releasing them from her native Waikiki Beach, Honolulu next month, Kiki is relying on the very same equatorial currents that guided the Pacific peoples of the Marchesas and Tahiti to the islands of Hawaii several thousands of years ago by canoe and paddle.
It is estimated that each bikini in a bottle, will hit land between 60 and 90 days, using the current map, above, as a guide. Watch this space for updates and photos of the launch and any sightings when they hit landfall. Photos are invited from any lucky beachcombers!
The Southern currents will push the teeny bikinis in a bottle towards the Pacific rim basin–Australasia and Pacific islands. Northern currents will take the bottles towards the Americas, north, south, Latin and central. The West wind drift will push them towards Europe and the Pacific drift will send some aloha to Canada.
The rule of finders-keepers applies, so get out there in time to scoop up a Kikidoll bikini amongst the shells and treasures of the ocean!

Friday June 11 was a holiday to honor the King.
Kamehameha the Great is lovingly remembered by Hawaiians as the ruler who united the people of these islands under one government.
Every year on the 11th of June, now officially a Presidentially proclaimed day of honor and remembrance, the statues of Kamehameha are bedecked with hundreds of celebratory leis and garlands.
President Obama signed the proclamation asking that all Americans celebrate “the rich heritage of Hawaii with appropriate ceremonies and activities.”
The original statue stands tall in Kapaau on the Big Island but copies are found in front of the Iolani Palace in Honolulu and in Washington DC.
Traditionally a holiday in Hawai, there are races, parades and special events to mark America’s only King.
